Dutch driver in French revolution

The winner of the last Euro F3 race, Renger van der Zande, is back in action in this weekend as the series heads to Dijon-Prenois, France. Despite joining from the British F3 championship at the last round in Barcelona, van der Zande went on to win the race and give Motopark Academy their first Euro F3 victory.

"I am really looking forward to getting back to business. Barcelona turned out better than any of us expected and there is no reason that we cannot be even stronger this weekend. That weekend took a lot of hard work, trust and team work from all of us but it really paid off," says the 23 year old.

It has been a busy time for the Dutch driver since winning on Spanish soil.  He has been in 4 countries for testing, meetings and even managed to squeeze a 24 hour race in what was just meant to be a trip to Germany for a seat fitting!

The penultimate round of F3 Euro Series heads to Dijon, a track that neither the Series, nor Renger  has been to before but he is not worried!

"We tested at Lausitz ring last week and we found a few things that could make us more competitive in Dijon. A new track doesn’t bother me – almost every track I raced on this season was new to me – the first time I went to Silverstone I won - so I am really hoping to give the guys at Motopark another taste of victory in Euro F3."
