Renger to test in Friday’s World Series by Renault
Renger van der Zande is to drive during next Friday’s World Series by Renault test at Paul Ricard’s circuit. The Prema Powerteam requested the 22 year-old racing talent from Nijmegen, the Netherlands, to assist the Italian racing team with the further improvement of the car. During the past two years Renger was active for the team in the Formula 3 Euroseries.

"This offers me another great opportunity to drive a fast car", Renger says. "I’m very pleased Prema has asked me to assist them, and I shall do my very best to help the team with the further set-up of the car. It’s not the first time I have tested in the World Series by Renault, but it is the first time I will drive the new car. I hope I will be able to set a fast lap time at the Paul Ricard circuit, which I know reasonably well from my earlier test work. So I’m really looking forward to it!""Moreover this test also offers me an excellent opportunity to prepare for my first race in the GP2 Asia Series next month, in Dubai, since the GP2 cars have about the same power as the World Series by Renault cars."
