Good starting position in fourth place offers possibilities for Renger
Renger van der Zande has equaled his best qualification of the season in Hockenheim. An excellent time placed him in a very respectable fourth place on the grid, where he has every chance of a good result in the race on Saturday.

“We can be very happy with this”, said Renger. “Fourth is pretty good. The conditions were dry and good, I still had a little trouble with traffic, so it could perhaps have been a bit faster, but fourth is an excellent starting position. The team is very pleased and I am too. Hopefully this weekend I can still take second place in the championship, but that certainly won’t be easy. In any case, I am really looking forward to the race tomorrow.”
Renger is currently in fifth place in the championship, twelve points behind the number two, Edoardo Mortara.
