Renger makes an excellent impression in the GP2 test
Renger van der Zande made an excellent impression on the Trust Team Arden during the GP2 test at Paul Ricard’s circuit. Renger drove a total of no less of 74 laps on this splendid French circuit, and recorded a highly creditable eleventh fastest time in the afternoon session. He was extremely pleased with the results achieved during the day.

"It was an excellent test", he said. "The team continually improved our performance throughout the day, and that was very important. We succeeded in our work on the car, and it felt very good. These cars have a lot of power, so there’s a real risk of losing control. However, that didn’t happen to me: I had full control, and was able to begin a productive session straight away."
"Since we had just one set of new tyres at our disposal I had only one chance to set a really good time, so we can be very satisfied with our position. The tem told me that they were very impressed with my performance on this first day, so I hope that more tests will follow in the near future.
