The Prema Powerteam was extremely fast in Hockenheim, but had to take a step back in Mugello. Renger was by far the fastest of the three Prema drivers and that was clear to see in the race itself. “I did not have the best start”, he said. “I lost two places, but I did not let it get to me. I gave it everything I had, but just missed out on fourth place. I also had the fifth fastest lap, which proves we did all we could. The objective was to put some points on the board and we managed to do just that. I'm extremely pleased.”

“In the second race, I can start from fourth on the grid. I want to drive another solid race and gain some more points, but I secretly hope to win a place on the podium. That would be great. I'm now fourth in the championship and there is not much between us. It is a very strong field and I hope I can do as well in the second race as I did today.”
