Van der Zande looking forward to sixth race of season

This weekend sees the DTM circus visit Germany’s Eifel Mountains for the sixth race of the 2011 season. An iconic circuit on the calendar, the high altitude and forests surrounding the Nürburgring ensure for a unique microclimate; with this in mind, Renger is prepared for anything.“The forecasts say it will be a wet weekend,” says the Mercedes driver. “The first half of the season is already over and during the DTM show in Munich I was able to experience what it’s like to be on the podium. The Nürburgring is a new challenge. We drive the short version of the circuit and I think the weather will play a major role. We’ll. I’ve got the bit between my teeth.”
Sunday race begins at 14:00 local time (GMT +2).
